As more and more people become aware of the opportunities on how to make money online, the first port of call tends to be Google’s AdSense programme. Scores of people on a daily basis get turned down. Below are a few tips to try and get your account approved.
Because search engine otpmisation is such a big and lucrative business, Google is very aware of this. Its main ethos is quality, which means that in order to add value you need to have something which helps advertisers make money and convert from your site.
When you make your application, remember to include accurate personal information. Because it is the web, people assume that you can enter any information and it will get approved. Wrong, just think of it like making a personal loan application or something where you have to enter everything correctly. Similarly to a PayPal application or something.
If you have a blog or website then you ABSOLUTELY MUST have original content that gets updated on a regular basis. Don’t go crazy and submit thousands of articles per day but a 300 word piece of content every few days should suffice. This is to show that you have a site that is updated regularly and you take your blog seriously.
If you have a site that you’ve just launched, it may not get approved so do not get disheartened about it. The general rule of thumb is that sites need to be up and running for several months before they get accepted. At the time of writing this, a time frame was not official but I expect it will be in the not to distant future.
Try and add privacy policy and contact pages so your site looks more official and not just like another MFA (made for Adsense) site.
Some people often miss this point but make sure that your domain name registration details and your Adsense application details are the same.
If you don’t get approved the first time, just keep adding fresh content and keep developing your site. Try and address the problems that were the cause of the declined application and try again a few weeks later, in most cases its because the site is new or because the content is copied. Remember to add videos, images as well as text to increase the sites exposure to the Google search properties.
Ensure you read and familiarise yourself with the Google AdSense terms of service. If you follow all the rules then you should get approved.
Whatever you do, don’t give up, just keep building your site and if at first it is not accepted, just keep trying.

Great tips to get traffic. Well done
