It’s been one of those days today!

One of the twins has a fever so I didn’t sleep all night, when I did eventually drop off, it was 8am!  Nearly 24 hours of being awake!

Anyway, I managed to catch a few hours sleep and when I did eventually wake up at 12.30pm, I was shocked to see one of my other hosting accounts was suspended.  This was NOT good.  A have a fair few UK based sites on here so half the day’s traffic had already gone.

I did manage to get my account resintated, the reason was an unpaid invoice, the problem was that the emails had gone into my junk folder so probably why it was missed!

On top of that, the day before yesterday’s AdSense earnings were probably the best Ive had for a while, in fact a few weeks.  The main earner was one of my personal hobby sites which does bring in some steady traffic but the CPC is incredibly low!  What happened yesterday was that I had only a few clicks but the CPC seemed to have gone through the roof, this site alone made me just over £4 which was fantastic.

Right now its 4.35am and yesterdays earnings look absolutely abysmal but I think its down to the loss of the sites and also some smart-pricing.

Work wise, I’m really trying to get maximum benefit from UAW and trying to work on a strategy that will really give me some powerful backlinks. Today, I’ve pretty much done some tweaking, corrected an article on EZA that had a broken link (due to the suspended hosting account).  In addition, I’m working on spinning rewrite 1 for one of my niche sites with another 2 to go.  My strategy is to change as I go along, previously I would use the Magic tokens in Magic Article Rewriter and go through it.  This was taking far too long, and time is money in this game.  Previously each resource box had 2 links, 1 to the main keyword with various anchor texts and the second link was designated for the inner pages.  I think what I’ll do now is to try out what Mike Iser does by pointing 2 links to 2 different niche sites.  Lets see how this goes.

I’ve also been thinking about changing the layout of this site since I’m not too happy with it, it was designed in a bit of a hurry and doesn’t really look anything like I initially envisaged.

For the next week or so, its going to be full steam ahead with a backlog of UAW ‘spins’ I need to do for a load of rewrites I have back!

Just as I was about to develop a new site, Dan over at Noteworthy Tips informed us of the Google AdWords Keyword Tool reporting discrepancy’s.  Doh, I just purchased a domain with 2,400 exact in Micro Niche Finder yet using the web interface for the GAKT, it only returned 390! Damn!

Lets hope tomorrow is a better day!
