Ok so we see this question asked over and over again for niche site developers. Is it better to develop mini sites or to develop 1 main authority site? The really simple answer to this is ‘BOTH’. Why? Read on.
Ok, so Google seems to have updates its PageRank. I’m pretty happy as it seems a lot of my hard work over the last few months has paid off. ok so I didn’t get a huge amount of PR for my sites but to jump from 0 to 1,2 was good. At least I know that next time I can aim for PR2 or 3. I did have a 10 year old domain that was sitting on PR3 now jump up to PR4 which I was very happy about. I basically made a great deal of links nofollow which I think attributed to lots of pagerank leaks.
As more and more people become aware of the opportunities on how to make money online, the first port of call tends to be Google’s AdSense programme. Scores of people on a daily basis get turned down. Below are a few tips to try and get your account approved.
Anyone who is involved with Google AdSense is always wants to try and increase their AdSense earnings by trying new innovative ways or those that have already been tried and tested. Something that I’ve actualy known about for a while actually came up on my radar again recently. The Competitive Filter.
It seems like some people’s new years resolution came just on time as Google had a toolbar update on New Years day. Recently, Google has implemented it’s new ‘Caffeiene’ algorithm and I think that this updated was relected on that. As usual, the company is penalising those that sell links.
It seems as always that the emphasis is on incoming links but it looks like the ‘quality’ of the link is more important with lower quality links being devalued.
So Google had a toolbar update last week and it seems like this time what they’ve focussed on are sites that are being updated regularly. I had a few sites that went up in PageRank, I found that these were sites that were established for a long time as opposed to new sites.
Also, it seems like if you have a site that hasn’t been updated in a while or no ‘real’ content added in a few months then the big G were going to penalise you for it. Would be good ot hear some views on this.
